Beat the Heat
The conference ‘Beat the Heat’ conference brings together practitioners, policymakers and researchers to address the challenges of urban heat and explore ways to create climate-resilient cities. We want to provide a platform for collaboration, knowledge exchange and networking to strengthen dialogue between the Swiss research, service and implementation communities. A particular focus will be on ‘social engagement and public relations’. The conference thus offers an opportunity to present and discuss findings from various disciplines, initiatives and projects that deal with the interactions between cities, climate change and society.
The next "Beat the heat" will take place on 3 September 2027 at SUPSI in Mendrisio.
