A course of study in the Faculty of Science is designed to impart to students both specific specialized knowledge and basic knowledge of the natural and exact sciences. Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctoral degrees are all offered.
A combined Bachelor and Master course of study today is the equivalent of what used to be known as a Diploma or Licentiate course of study. A Master's degree is thus equal to a Diploma or Licentiate degree. Attestations of Equivalence can be obtained from the Education Center. Such attestations are required, for example, when a student with a Licentiate degree wishes to begin a PhD program.
